The past two weeks (since finally bumping up to SL), I've run into about a dozen instances where I've responded to an email, heard the outbound whoosh, but no copy exists in the Sent folder (major problem since these are work-related responses).
When I click on the curved arrow that signifies a reply was sent, here's what pops up:
"Mail was unable to find your reply to the message [xyz]. You may have deleted the message."
Uh. No. I haven't deleted a thing (and heaven knows I wouldn't).
This is happening in three different email accounts (spanning two domains, all IMAP). Preferences for two of the three accounts--different domains--are set as:
Mailbox behaviors > Store sent messages on the server: NO
Delete Sent messages when > NEVER
Preferences on the third account, which shares one of the above domains:
Store messages on the server" > YES
Delete Sent messages when > NEVER
I'm seeing lots of posts in the Apple Support forums about this, but no solutions. Anyone else run into the same problem (and maybe...maybe...have a fix for it)?
