Hi,

I know there has been on going issues with mail notifications, but wondered whether anyone had solved this definitively? I seem to get all notifications except for Apple Mail? Anyone with advice? I have a series 4 set to mirror my iPhone.

Thanks

I was not aware of ongoing issues. My mail notifications bug me all day. What are yours doing?

They don’t bug me at all, that’s the problem! I don’t get Apple Mail notifications, all other notifications (fitness, 3rd party apps, gmail app notifications are fine) but my iCloud emails and my other iCloud account emails j don’t get any in my watch. They come up on my phone as normal but not my watch.

I’ve tried fiddling with the settings in the watch app, changing it to custom instead of mirror my phone but it doesn’t seem to work.

Anybody got any ideas?

The only thing that comes to mind is making sure the notification setting on your phone has sounds turned on. If it's not, you will not get a notification on your watch.

I wasn’t getting notifications either. My phone had fetch data on the wrong setting. I changed it to every 15 minutes and it works all the time now.

Thanks for your replies. The sound is set to default but should that matter? The Mail notifications still come up on my phone but just don’t appear on my watch, quite frustrating.

With the fetch every 15 mins thing, I shouldn’t really have to change that as iCloud is push email so shouldn’t be fetching every 15 mins.

I’ve stopped getting notifications for mail on my watch and phone all together as well. Can’t figure it out.

Surely there should have been a solution by now! I mean I’d sort of understand if it’s a third party app but it’s a native apple app
