Mail notifications not showing

I have my mail notifications set to appear on the lock screen, and to show notification banners when the phone is in use, however, on iOS 8 none of these notifications show and I just hear the mail notification sound. Is anyone else having this issue, and is there a solution to fix it? Thanks.

Be sure your alert style isn't set to "none".

Just checked and my alerts are all set up correctly. Maybe it is just a bug in Beta 1.

I didn't even think about that. I rebooted and it seems to be working for now, thanks for the tip.

glad to help.....its not a permanent fix as I notice this bug repeats often so just keep rebooting

I'm guessing in iOS 8, you still don't get any notifications in the toolbar?
