iPhone Mail notifications ONLY for Contacts

With the sheer volume of spam, junk, and phishing these days, it would be brilliant to have the option to merely receive email notifications for emails from people in your Contact list.

You could add your individual contacts to the VIP list in the Mail app. Notification settings for VIPs override other notification settings for Mail, so you could turn off all notifications for Mail, but keep them on for any VIP emails.
