Mail on Mac + iCloud - Help needed...

I have it working on my iMac and iPhone but can't get it to work on my MacBook.

I check Mail+Contatcs in Sys Prefs. This is all OK, but it doesn't load the account in the Mail App.

When I go back to Sys Prefs the Mail+Contacts is not checked anymore!

Any ideas?

i have this issue as well it started with my iPhone not being able to access my .me inbox so i tried on my macbook air and same thing can't access the inbox in mail, i can access mail from the iCloud website however. So i signed out of my iCloud in Lion and relogged back in, and now i have the issue where the mail setting is not setting up the inbox in lion's mail app, when i goto check the mail checkbox in iCloud settings its unchecked, i also deleted my iCloud account on my iPhone and readded it but no luck accessing .me mail again. I also don't have a MobileMe account
