iPod touch mail problem - stopped being able to get email

I have had no problems at all with my ipod touch until now. I am unable to get my email anymore. Since yesterday afternoon. It sits and just says "checking for mail" and the little wheel spins. I tried it at home, at work.. and nothing. All other internet stuff works, also my mail on my computer works too.. Any ideas?

I figured it out. I should have tried this first but I didnt. I turned it off and back on and then it worked...
