Mail Problem

    When I click on the "Mail" icon at the bottom of my screen, I get the following message: The SMTP server “smtp.mac.com” rejected the password for user. . . " and it gives my user ID. My email provider is comcast.net and I'm attempting to set it up to come through this mail option on my Mac. Help?? Rhoda

    If you are using a Comcast e-mail address, you should not be using smtp.mac.com. You should be setting up a POP mail account...
