Mail question (usage)

Quick question. I use to mail accounts, between both I have 12 emails. My question is , why when I go to usage is my mail using 6.5 gb with nothing in my boxes? I am a bit confused.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Not a single one. I have 800 pictures that are using 5.2 gb 12 emails that is sing over 6 gb

Well, there's clearly something in your mail. Have you emptied your junk boxes and trash?

Everything is empty minus the 12 that I need.

I don't know what to tell you. I have several accounts synced and my combined emails don't even take up 100MB.

Try deleting the accounts and re-adding them. My Mail is only 17.2 MB and I have 5 accounts, with Gmail having every email since 2005 (though not all downloaded)

Thanks tried that as well, even weirder , with no mail accounts in my phone it's still says mail is using 6.3 gb. Confused

I've deleted both email accounts. Before I installed I rebooted phone and it was still at 6.3 gb with no mail accounts on phone. I really don't want to wipe phone and start over. Is there something I'm missing ?

I'd say back it up and restore it. It must be a bug in your install of iOS.
