I had a powerbook g4 and i recently got a macbook pro. I backed up my old comp using iBackup 6.7.3. The problem that i am trying to figure out is i used to POP my mail using Mail. From what i can tell these files where backed up. however i don't really want to bring all that mail into my new mail. but i would like to access some of the emails or at least know that i can get to them if need be. Is there a way this can be done? i have read about may ways of taking those files and overwriting the ones on my new laptop, but as i said i don't really want to clutter up mail with a bunch of stuff i will just end up trashing, and i don't want to have to go through the effort of bringing it all in and then going through and deleting the ones i don't think i will need.
