Mail question

still pretty new to mac....is there anyway to create personal folders in the mail app that comes with osx??

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "personal folders?" You can create any number of mailboxes for storing your messages.

Yes, although they are called Mailboxes. Under the Mailbox menu there is an option to create New Mailbox.
