Mail randomly pops up

I don't know why, but my mail app randomly pops up. I usually have it open, but I've exited the window. Then it will just decide to open the window for no reason I can see. It doesn't have any prompts or notifications when it comes up and I haven't gotten any new mail. It just likes to get screen time I guess.

Anyone have any ideas on how to stop this?

It's already been noted on the forum and bug report has already been sent to Apple. No known fix as of yet.

I have the same issue glad it just wasn't me I was getting ready to reformat.

Ditto. The issue caught me off guard there for a minute. Then it happened on a second computer so i knew it was a bug. Glad to know i am not alone on this one
