Every couple of weeks, Mac Mail will drag in a whole bunch of old, random blog posts into my RSS folders.

I subscribe to a LOT of feeds, and every time this happens I have to delete a good few thousand old posts, a real pain.

Does anyone else have this problem and is there a way to fix/prevent it?

This also happened to me. But only some feeds do this, so I'm guessing it has something to do with those specific feeds rather than Mail. Did this happen for every feed? Or, you can set Mail to automatically delete articles after, say one week (day/month/year), in Mail preference. I don't read any articles in my feed if it's more than one week old anyway, so that works for me.

auto-delete would be one way of fixing it, but I like to save posts (not all of them!) for reference.
