Hi folks,
Anyone using Mac in Japan? Because if yes, you might have noticed that the new Apple hates Japanese people (on the contrary, Jobs used to be inspired by zen culture, but I digress.)
Whenever I search a Japanese word in Mail using Japanese characters, the search results will include ALL emails that contain ANY of the characters included in the word I'm searching.
In comparison, imagine yourself searching "sequoia", and the results include any ANY EMAIL that contains "s", "e", "q", "u", "o" "i" or "a". Noticed that? There are all vowels in the word, which means that the search result will bring up ALL YOUR EMAILS.
Does it make any sense to anyone? Because to me, it really doesn't.
Besides, no matter what I search, the results summary–e.g. "Inbox (1)"–will always give the same number of results. This might be a bug?
Does this happen in all languages besides English? Is there a solution?
