Mail - Sending Indicator?

Hello! .. I recently sent a 5MB email via Mail .. is there a progress indicator that shows me the email is being sent? (10% .. 20% ... 99% .. sent!). I just don't like waiting for the 'sent' sound effect!

I believe if you go to Mail->Window->Activity Viewer you'll get what you want.

There is also a little pie chart indicator next to the account name inside Mail's Sent folder in the Sidebar.

I believe Panther's Mail App had the progress indicator, but for some reason Apple chose to remove it in Tiger's Mail 😕
