I have a .Mac account set up in Mail but I've noticed the last few emails I've sent briefly show up in the "sent" folder and then disappear. 😕

I logged into .Mac through Safari and checked the sent items, the emails aren't there either.

I tested sending an email from my .Mac address (I have 3 or 4 addresses under the 1 account by the way and I'm sending from one of the others, not the primary address) to my Gmail account and the same thing happens. Shows up briefly in Sent but disappears. The email did come through in Gamil though, so I think they are being delivered.

Any ideas what's up?

Check if you set Mail to delete sent emails on quitting, or then they are x days old.

No, Trash, Junk and Sent are all set to "Never". I've always had it this way and they've never disappeared. I'm thinking it might be something to do with .Mac not communicating with their server properly or something? Thanks btw. 🙂

I just tried it with the primary address and the same thing happened.
