mail sidebar can be cleaned up a bit?

is it possible for me to 'clean up' mail's side bar? as you can in thunderbird?

Wow I thought you wanted to clean up the bottom one. Looks much worse to me but there you go 🙂.

Just collapse all the sections you don't use that often. As for anything major in terms of change I am not aware of anything I'm afraid.
