Ever since upgrading to ML, my outgoing SMTP server's password entry keeps getting deleted from the keychain.
I will go to send a message and get the password prompt. It's a different password prompt than Lion. This is one of those dropdown windows in Mail. There's no option to save the password like in Lion......it just saves it by default.
The problem is, after some period of time, the entry in Keychain disappears and Mail asks for my password again.
No idea why....I don't restart or sleep my machine....it's up 24x7.
I just know that when I go to send a message and it asks for my STMP password...if I open keychain, the entry is gone. I enter my password, the entry is back and the mail sends.
Anyone else seeing this?
FYI...I'm using Rackspace mail.
Also, I have removed my SMTP server completely and re-added it. Everything saves for a bit then randomly, Mail forgets the password.
