I just got my new Mac Pro up and running. It's amazingly fast!!!
One thing I am having difficulty with is sounds in mail. I have all the correct boxes checked in preferences, but I am not hearing any sounds for sending and checking mail. Receiving mail is working just fine. Yes, I do have the box checked that says to enable other mail sounds.

Any ideas??

Thanks 🙂

You've probably solved your issue by now, but if not: double check your volume control using the speaker icon at the top of your screen, in the menu bar. Sometimes one can inadvertently turn off the sound while typing. Of course, that's never happened to me. Really, never! 😱

Actually, I still haven't solved this issue! The volume is fine.. all other sounds are working just fine, just not the send mail and check mail sounds. I will likely call Apple and suffer through their response!!! 😀

Sorry to learn you haven't a "healing" yet, that's a bummer! When you do, whether from the Apple "genies" or elsewhere, let us know what was up. Best luck to you 😉
