Mail: Total number of mails

Is there an easy way to find out how many mails are being stored in Mail?

I am not asking about the number of mails in one folder ("Mailbox") but about the number of mails in all folders and sub-folders.

I don't know if you can trust the numbers provided when you right click a mailbox in Mail and select "Get Account Info". They aren't the total that you're asking for anyway.

Likewise, I don't know how reliable the number is when you create a Smart Folder and select the account(s) for which you want to see all mail...and then look at the total.
