The password prompt for my gmail account will not stop popping up, and I can't get it to go away.

Tried changing it from every minute to 5, nothing
    Tried changing gmail password
Checked keychain entries and confirmed they were correct

I tried everything and this is makes me so frustrated :( Please help

I'm not at my Mac, but from memory, I believe Kaychain Access has some type of first-aid option that might help.

As long as you know the password, I suggest that you quit Mail and go to Keychain Access and delete the key that corresponds to that gmail account. Then restart Mail, enter the password when requested and have it saved in the Keychain.
