Mail won't delete from Notification pull down

Having this issue and it bugs me. Whenever I delete an unread email from Mail app it still appears in notification pull down.

Any recommendations how to solve this? I tried a soft and hard reset and still having issue.

Same here, using gmail setup as exchange.

Yep forgot to mention I have gmail set up as exchange.

Any way to fix this?
