mail wont notify me of new emails

I have a few emails setup in the ios mail app and when my screen is locked or off I dont seem to ever get a notification about them. I have them all on with push on as well. Any ideas or suggestions?

When you say no notification, do you mean nothing on screen, or no sound? I had an issue where I had no sound, but would get the banners and get them in Notification Center. I few hard resets and I seem to be ok.

Both. When my screen is off I dont get a notification that turns my screen on or any sound

Seems like another iOS 9 glitch. Happens to me too off and on. Hopefully 9.1 will fix a lot of these little annoyances.

I'm not sure what device you upgraded from but Gmail no longer pushes on mail app.

I doubt that. All mine are yahoo accounts.

Well that explains it. thank you for that! what a bummer though. I like the mail app but I guess the gmail one will have to do

Im having the same issue. I was on 9.1b2 on my 6+ and it didn't happen. On my 6s+ with 9.1b2 i am having the issue..
