hi i have the latest version of mail that i want to use sounds with, but the soundds don't work. nothing is muted, as far as i can see in system preferecnes, so is there somthing i can do?

In the Mail Preferences, do you have a New Mail sound selected and more importantly, do you have Play Sounds For Other Mail Actions ticked? 🙂

yes i made sure to check and uncheck all tohse thign,s but i have just booted up since this morning and the sounds work again; i was hoping that would help and it did. cheers
