In Apple Mail on IOS 9 the sound alert nor notification doesn't sound or show , is there a workaround I could try, does anyone know?

You are saying when you get a new message in the inbox the Mail app doesn't display a notification or make any alert? Does the badge for that new message show up?

Perhaps then new mail isn't actually being received by the app and thus no alert/notification for it would then be displayed?

In that case it sounds like some sort of push or fetch settings either aren't enabled or aren't working properly.

Assuming you are receiving the mail but not getting notifications....

Settings > Notifications > Mail > (account)

Is everything look to be turned on?
