Mailbox accidentally deleted

I've just accidentally deleted the Hotmail mailbox from Mail. Mac says it's removed 'permanently' unless Time Machine is on, which is not. Does anyone know any other way I can add Hotmail to Mail again? thank you

Just re-add it the same way you added it the first time...?

I have tried this but it doesn't work unfortunately.
