Too little, too late

I've already replaced Mailbox with Boxer.

Boxer supports my self-hosted IMAP accounts.
Mailbox...still doesn't.

Boxer supports Exchange accounts for my corporate e-mail
Mailbox...still doesn't.

Boxer lets me customize the actions taken by each swipe gesture.
Mailbox...still doesn't.

Boxer supports Box.net as well as Dropbox.
Mailbox...never will, since it's owned by Dropbox.

Mailbox did one, and only one, thing better than Boxer for me: it provided a feature to automatically archive all the mail currently in my Inbox when I was starting up, thereby making it super-easy to start at Inbox Zero. That was a nice touch, but it's a one-time feature.

For the things I do everyday, Boxer has everything I need.

I keep getting "Failed to Authorize" ....rejected by youremail provider...

I have a me.com account should this work?

anyone know why not?

thanks

…Oddly enough, I downloaded it from the app store, but it must not have downloaded the latest version… Then it appeared in the updates tab. Weird.
I wonder is this is a documented issue / "feature", because I've had this happen to me too.

Honest Question

What's the purpose of this app? Is it just to duplicate the functionality of the built-in Mail app in iOS??

What's so special about this one that would cause me to stop using the built-in stock app? I have all my email accounts being managed by the stock one. My work IMAP email, my yahoo email, my Gmail, and my personal email through GoDaddy.

While I found the app useful and semi-productive for me, I ultimately deleted it and went back to the stock mail app. I really wasn't a huge fan of placing emails in different "folders." It was nice to see that my inbox was "empty", but the stock mail app lets you quickly search for emails, especially since I keep a lot of my important emails in my inbox.
