If you read my original post, I edited it on how to stop those folders/labels on IMAP which solves Xenomorph's problem.

It doesn't resolve his problem. He would like to have "All Mail" hidden from desktop mail clients. However, Mailbox requires that "All Mail" is NOT hidden in the IMAP settings.

The app shows a lot of potential. Sure, I wish you could have it for all accounts, with a desktop companion, but its a step in the right direction.

I'm just pleased that it still appears to have a life since Dropbox bought it, unlike Sparrow that was allowed to die.

Unfortunately I would be loathed to use it as a main email app on iOS until you have the option to set a default mail client.

I agree with you. Especially since I'm currently using Mailbox for my Gmail account and the Mail app for my Yahoo mail. But 99% of my emails are received through my Gmail account anyway.

It's a great app. I know there are downsides to it, but it has worked for me from day 1. I'm sure at some point I will resort back to the Mail app, but since I waited 2+ weeks "in line" for it, I might as well use. It has simplified how I use email now.

Default email client? I'm not sure what the practical advantages there are. Third-party apps just use the system email sheet to send messages. As long as you add the account to the iOS Mail app, set it to manual fetch, and turn off notification for that account, there is no practical difference as to which email client is default.

I think its a great app, and is extremely polished for a V1. The snooze feature alone makes it worthwhile keeping, and the push notifications are VERY fast.

I hadn't thought of that but that's a pretty good idea, aside from the signature but that shouldn't be a big deal.

Click any email link on a website and you'll have mail open, and not mailbox. If you decide to use a different app for email, then you should have the option to complete ALL email tasks with it IMO.

Mail doesn't open. An email sheet just slides in. You stay in the current app.

Yes, someone may want advanced editing features in sending a message, but that's not really what Mailbox is about.

Just been looking at this again. You're right, it's not actually too bad, however, it would be a tad annoying if you are used to Mailboxes interface for composing, and were then forced into a slightly different one in this scenario.
No biggy, just think it lacks some consistency.
