My mom's phone has been doing really strange things in terms of the mail app. It will occasionally forget that a mail account has been set. That is to say, you can tap the app, and it will bring up the setup screen as if it was the first time setting up mail on the phone. When I go into settings>mailc,contacts,calendars everything is there... I need to turn mail syncing off, kill the mail app, turn syncing back on, and reload the mail app. Then everyhting is good for a few days...
By the way, this is a 4S running iOS7.
