It's most likely just me, but Mail's search seems to be not working.

It only manages to give me results when I enter someone's name.. The moment I'm looking for specific words it doesn't show me anything at all. This doesn't seem right.. Right?

I'm using Lion, by the way.

Time to reset some things.

1. Time to speed up Mail. So make sure Mail is closed and use the freeware SpeedMail and run that (while Mail is closed down).

2. Re-Index your spotlight: Open /Applications/Utilities/Terminal and put in the command
Code:
sudo mdutil -E /
(you can copy this code and run it). Leave Terminal open until you get another prompt then the re-index will have started. It can take a while if you have a big hard drive so it will take a while.

Try these two steps to see if it helps Mail's search. Just when you try these steps always make sure Mail is not running!

Good Luck.
