Hello,

After installing Snow Leopard and I received the following warning when trying to run "sudo periodic daily weekly monthly" in Terminal:

WARNING: Improper use of the sudo command could lead to data loss
or the deletion of important system files. Please double-check your
typing when using sudo. Type "man sudo" for more information.

To proceed, enter your password, or type Ctrl-C to abort.

Did the command change for maintenance Scripts? I just want to make sure before creating problems with my system. I try to run the scripts every weekend due to not leaving my Mac Pro powered 24/7.

Thanks for the help and advice.

No, the codes are the same under SL. Terminal will sometimes notify you when you want to use the sudo command because it could potentially erase files on your hard drive

Thanks Celtic Pride. I always want to make sure since returning to Mac after several years of pc and not knowing OSX well enough.
