We're tracking one of the biggest restocks of AirPods Max headphones as we enter April, available at Amazon and Verizon. This restock includes nearly all colors of the AirPods Max.

Amazon has all five colors except Pink available, with Space Gray at slightly delayed 1-2 day shipping estimates. Verizon is offering free two-day shipping on the Space Gray, Green, and Sky Blue AirPods Max.

We've been keeping track of ‌‌‌AirPods Max‌‌‌ stock at third-party retailers because the headphones still have slightly delayed shipping estimates on Apple's website. Apple's shipping times are beginning to improve however, with a mid-April estimate as of today.

Still, if you're interested in getting the over-ear headphones as soon as possible, Amazon or Verizon will be your best bet for this week.
AirPods Max‌‌‌ cost $549.00, and feature Active Noise Cancellation technology and the same Transparency mode, Adaptive EQ, and spatial audio features that are in the AirPods Pro. If you're hunting for AirPods-related deals, we track sales for every model of the ‌‌‌AirPods‌‌‌ in our Best AirPods Deals guide.

I find it strange how Apple focuses on keeping 3rd party sellers in stock first before their own retail stores and online store.
I find it strange that MR is posting stock updates for this product. I know they are a business too so need advertisement and affiliate revenue to survive, but it would be nice if we could opt out.

I also find it strange that this product is in such high demand that they're still out of stock. I'm sure they're a great product, but you'd expect a $550 smartphone to go flying off shelves, not headphones necessarily.

because it’s the latest Apple product that still in low stock, Tim already mention this, might not be high demand but supply is just low and i know it affects you because you are not the target customer...

Got mine in blue @ Amazon with backup blue pads coming from the Apple store.

So far:

1.) Sounding as good as my Senn 650s with no burn in yet.
2.) The noise cancelling is as good but not better than my Bose QC25s
3.) Spatial Audio is great but not revelatory
4.) Bluetooth connection, controls and functions are rock solid.
5.) And the build quality is second-to-none!

Ok, back to the music...

I find it to be very comfortable - no issues so far.

I was putting it through the paces for extended listening session last night and started to feel some very minor top ear irritation/fatigue around the 2.5 hour mark - everyone's experience will differ here.

Took them off for a couple of minutes for a rest and finished up another hour with no issues at all.

The pads are as comfortable as my 650s.

I was concerned since I wear glasses, and when I had Beats and SONY XM4, the frame of my glasses dug into my mastoid bone something fierce. I've had no issues with AirPods Max. I think Apple anticipated their users wearing glasses, lol.
I have the Beats Studio 3's and they hurt me when I wear my glasses with them.

With all the stimulus checks I have received so far, I may just break down and buy a pair. Maybe.....

I finally pulled the trigger and went and picked up a pair in Silver at my local Apple Store (Tampa, International Plaza). I am not regretting this decision. They sound amazing. I upgraded from Beats Studio 3 wireless. Which I really liked, but right away you can hear how much better these are.

As far as the comfort, I think they feel great! So many reviews talked about how they are heavy, which is true, as they weigh more than most other headphones out there. However, they appear to be quite comfortable, and the mesh headband really is comfortable. My Beats would make my ears have some discomfort within minutes of having them on.

Anyway, I am happy with them so far. Can't wait to watch some movie tonight on the Apple TV to get a feel for the Spatial Audio.

Do we know if its demand or just very constrained supply?
Agreed that we don't know if it's high in demand or low in supply, but this isn't the first nor the last Apple product that has seen supply issues (in my mind, regardless of demand, if it's not in stock - it's ultimately a supply issue), so I just question why this topic keeps being posted to the front page (noting the affiliate links).
