Have done a lot of research on the particular issues Im having and can only find discussions on problems slightly tangential to mine.
Beginning about a week ago whenever I would use home sharing on my iPad or iPhone (streaming through my Mac Pro desktop an an Airport Extreme) the file I would be playing would pause erratically and then start up again. It would get really bad if I listened to one of the larger files (I download radio show podcasts) and try to jump to the middle of the program - every time the file would just pause and not play and then jump to the next file on the playlist and just hang.
Furthermore, it totally screws up my WiFi....I would have to reset my extreme to get the signal to stop behaving erratically. I read through tons of posts and tried earlier versions of airport software, resetting my wifi settings, etc...but all to no avail.
Im a little surprised that Im the only one having this issue since it seems so basic....I turn on home sharing, start using it and bam -- all these wifi issues just start happening.
Anyone able to point me in the right direction for a solution? Because it is driving me crazy....
