Major lag when typing on keyboard

Just updated to iOS 7 for my iPhone 4. On the whole - great.

However, I'm experiencing the worst keyboard typing lag ever. It takes about 10 seconds for the letters to come up, and even then, they tend to come in chunks.

Anyone experiencing the same problem? I'm literally finding it impossible to communicate with anyone at the moment.

Reset all settings. Go to general > reset > reset all settings

The frustration with that is you'll have to then input all your preferred settings back (naturally).

In my experience with iOS 7 too, you'll do all that and it won't fix the problem, it'll return.

Apple have drastically improved it from the early Betas, but it's a problem they will have to fix.

Seemed to have fixed the problem - although other parts of the system are now lagging a tiny bit.

I'll play around with it for awhile and see if it improves.

I'm guessing that's down to the fact that you are using a 4...Even people with 4S's are reporting a little lag. Turning off things like motion etc, should also help.

There's already significant lag with typing on ios 6 for iPhone 4, so I can't see how it could improve after updating to ios 7.

Seemed to have fixed the problem . . .

That's what I thought when I'd reset the settings on the first Beta.

It'll come back now and then, but Apple will fix it soon now iOS 7 is out in the wild.

Removed Doc and Data from iCloud b/u. Lag gone immediately.
