I downloaded an installation file for windows 7, but the file i got was an EXE file instead of an ISO. Is there an easy way to make an ISO from the EXE that is free (so I can make an install DVD)?

You DO realize this is a Mac forum, right? Unless you're running Windows in Boot Camp or something like VMWare Fusion or Parallels, you can't run .exe files on Mac OS X.

Furthermore ISO is just a disc image and is not an application format. You don;t run IS's as applications.

Whatever you downloaded, it is not going to work on a Mac - its going to be Windows only.
