i had my iphone jailbroken and decided to go back to legit. while j.b. i used make it mine to change the phone carrier. after restoring the carrier change is still there. is there anyway to get it back to stock? preferably without j.b. again?

Me too. I bet you did a Restore from backup, right? So did I. MiM actually changes one of the files which are backup up and restored.

I'm living with it, for now. I'll either have to start from scratch and reload everything, or re-JB, install MiM, reset it to default, then un-JB again.

Mine says "Sith". What's your network say?

You should put your iPhone into DFU mode, restore and set up as a new phone. Really anytime you restore you should use DFU mode.

All MiM does is change a text string in one specific file. It does not change your actual carrier.

But yes, if you restore fresh, and setup as a new phone (without doing the restore-from-backup), it'll be gone forever.

    Until you JB again....

    NO!!! Don't do that!!!

    Run QuickPwn.

    Download Make It Mine.

Tap "Carrier," with nothing in the text field.

It will reset back to default.

Now, if you still want to undo the jailbreak, do so at this point.

There is no reason not to restore from back-up!!!

My apologies for bumping such an old thread, but I didn't want to start a new one.

I had this same problem with MiM. After re-jailbreaking my phone, changing the MiM settings back to original, and then restoring all of my data, it changed the newly reset AT&T logo back to my personalized logo. How can I avoid this and still get all of my texts and other data back?
