I'm calling the cops
Ok, so I feel as if I have a lack of movies to enjoy with my friends lately. I want to buy some new ones:rolleyes:

I enjoy movies such as Garden State, Juno, Hot Fuzz, Gattaca, Riddick, Lord of the rings.(I know it broad)

Any other movies in this genre anyone can recommend I pick up?

Thank you!

Super Troopers? Super Bad? Some comedies that someone who liked Hot Fuzz might like...

I have yet to see shaun of the dead(I love zombies)

Seen superbad, pitch black, super troopers.

I will add Zodiac to my list though.

'This is Spinal Tap' is hilarious, I definitely recommend it :)

Also, Borat is a must-see

An in response to the others: Shaun Of The Dead was awesome, but I thought (and my friends agreed) that Zodiac was really boring...

+1 on Shaun of the Dead and Borat.

If you haven't seen Office Space, I highly recommend it. And if you have seen Office Space, I still highly recommend it. I never get sick of watching it :D

Also, if you liked Super Troopers, check out Beerfest, it's by the same guys

eternal sunshine of the spotless mind

Mulholland Drive

The fifth element

the weather man

apocalypto

Do you do "chick flicks"? Land of Women was good but it's really something I can't see a guy sitting down to watch. A Perfect Stranger was decent, nice little twist in there somewhere. Also I bought Spanglish over a year ago and never opened it. Just finally opened it and watched it, found it to be very good.

Ok so far my list hoes as so:

Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind
Super Troopers
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Knocked Up
Shaun of the Dead
Fifth Element
The Invisible
Zodiac
12 and Holding
One last thing
Donnie Darko
Saw III
SuperBad
One Hour Photo

And Maybe:
The Wire

Thank you so much!

Keep them coming!

My favourite movies on DvD:

Unforgiven
Life Aquatic
Royal Tenenbaums
American Psycho
I <3 Huckabees

The last four are more appropriate for mass viewings with friends. Unforgiven is a great movie, but it's not really "fun" viewing so to speak.

-Driving Lessons (just saw it, was wonderful)
-Kill Me Later
-Mulholland Drive
-Requiem for a Dream
-Hustle & Flow
