I personally wouldn't donate to this guy because I don't agree with what he's doing. Others may feel differently and could reason it that he has the "initiative" to find the money any way possible. But this, to me, is only higher class street begging.

I couldn't agree more. Kids who beg for money for silly things like over priced computers should be out doing charity work. If you spend even half of a day in say a soup kitchen then you'll soon find out how important the things you have are and how unimportant your shiny new mac is. 🙂

I've had everything handed to me growing up and at the same time I've worked for everything I have now. I am balanced, but I don't think everyone is so lucky.

Yep, it's been that way for quite a while too. Read the Sherlock Holmes story, "The Man with the Twisted Lip." (No Toyota Corollas in it, though)
