Hello, I am the developer of Make Me Workout and the sole proprietor of Quiet Forge Software.
I built this app because I kept forgetting what exercises I was supposed to do for PT or wanted to try to master a new movement.
I know how to workout, I've done various types for years. But I'd get to the gym and fallback into the same routine for the day. I'd forget about the shoulder movement I'd been given at PT to make the clicking stop. Or the video I saw on Instagram to strengthen my core.
Every workout app I tried had or wanted one of two things: a subscription or it only focused on one type of workout (Abs-only, HIIT-only, etc) None of them just let me track what I was already doing.
So I made Make Me Workout.
It's a workout tracker built for people who already know how to move - they just need help remembering what's next and a reminder to do it on busy days.
A few things I cared about:
- No subscription. No account Download it and use it. I don't need your email. I don't need to know your name. Just move.
- Import from social media See a exercise or workout on Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok that looks interesting? Pull it into your workout directly. No more saved folder graveyards.
- Free-form exercise entry Call it whatever you want. "Chest day chaos." "That one...." However you name your exercise and whatever details you need, it accepts it.
- Statistics tracking See your volume, reps, and sets over time. Actually know if you're making progress instead of guessing. Provides not just set totals, but workout totals so you can see different types of progress.
I built this for me. But I figured there's probably a few other people who just want something simple that gets out of their way.
Would love any feedback, feature ideas., and if you check it out let me know what you think!
