Make menu bar completely transparent

Just wondering if it's possible to make the Menu bar completely transparent, on Leopard.

No. You can make it completely opaque if you wish, however.

It just makes it darker, what I want is to have only the text without the menu itself.

My bar when i turn on the mac is for a few seconds completely transparent.

poohpt, EmperorDarius: Did either of you ever find a way to do this?

Obviously it's cosmetically possible, as poohpt has a screenshot of the Finder menu bar before it fully loads. I would assume one could edit the image file that contains the menu bar background & drop shadow, but after searching in ever way I can imagine, no forum, modder, or other app has a way to remove the background but not the text.

I just think this would look awesome, and it's probably not too too difficult.
