Just wondering if it's possible to make the Menu bar completely transparent, on Leopard.
No. You can make it completely opaque if you wish, however.
Yes, I know about that, just wanted to try and make it transparent.
It just makes it darker, what I want is to have only the text without the menu itself.
Can it be 100% transparent ???
My bar when i turn on the mac is for a few seconds completely transparent.
You can see it in the images
can you tell me how can it be done ? Thanks
How to get fully transparent (not translucent) menu bar
poohpt, EmperorDarius: Did either of you ever find a way to do this?
Obviously it's cosmetically possible, as poohpt has a screenshot of the Finder menu bar before it fully loads. I would assume one could edit the image file that contains the menu bar background & drop shadow, but after searching in ever way I can imagine, no forum, modder, or other app has a way to remove the background but not the text.
I just think this would look awesome, and it's probably not too too difficult.
