is there any way I can make the menu bar MORE translucent? I really like it, unlike a lot of other people, and I want it to be more see through

not from the default settings, maybe with candybar or some other app? it would have to alter the the file at the core level..

...this is an old thread but seeing as I stumbled across it myself I may as well reply.
Macpilot has this option, you can control how translucent you want it.
