Make sure your iPhone is solidly in your hand before you take it out of your backpack.

Happened yesterday afternoon. Exploring options now. :(

Try taking it to apple and telling them what happened. I was given a free replacement when mine shattered after a very short fall.

sorry yours did too.
(I switched to a more rugged case after mine shattered)

Wish I wasn't three hours away from an Apple Store

Last week I missed my inside pocket of my sportcoat and it went straight for
the concrete drive way:eek:. I was expecting to see your picture when I looked down at the phone but furtunately my bumper actually saved the phone as I have a nice scuff mark on the corner of rubber part. *sigh*
Owning a beautiful glass phone can be very stressful at times I tell ya.

Looks kind of cool if you ask me,

question for the OP, are pieces of glass falling out? or is it just cracked. I've got a vinyl CF wrap thing on the back of my phone, but I've been beating the crap out of it, and I've thrown it across a room once or twice, so I have a feeling the back is cracked, and I'd be willing to remove the wrap as long as pieces of glass don't start falling out of the back of the phone...

On the bright side, the Retina Display still works :D So I'm guessing you can only scroll using the lower left portion of the screen?

A few small pieces of glass did fall off of the phone. Nothing too large, but your probably don't want tiny pieces of glass on the floor of your house.

Dropped mine twice from waist height last night... not a scratch or a ding. I use the simple Incipio NGP. Pretty good case. First time it hit cement, second time it hit tile.

I love the look of naked iPhone but the glass on both sides makes a case mandatory. The Incipio one is fairly slim, barely noticeable bulk and easy to grip.

Few weeks ago I had my phone in my lap and forgot it was there when I got out of the car and thanks to the Incipio NGP my phone was saved.
