Makemkv sound issues.

Just did my first blu ray rip with makemkv and was
comparing it to a mp4 DVD rip of the same movie(cars) and noticed that the sound was of a far less quality. The volume is about half that of the mp4. I chose the DD sound file. Thanks for any help.
