So let me get this straight... EBay sellers are putting guns to peoples heads forcing them to overpay!?!? This is a travesty, an injustice of epic proportions, terrifying!!!
Oh wait. It's just morons spending money for something they want from someone who has something they can't otherwise get?

This actually seems kind of foolish to me. People who pay $900 for a $650 phone at launch are buying the phone for their own personal use (they want to be one of the first people to have it). This guys is selling a 4 phone lot at that price. The only people who are buying 4 phones at once are buying them to resell them and nobody is going to buy four $650 dollar phones at $900 to resell them. He'd be much better off selling them individually.
There just isn't any really effective way of preventing this I'm afraid. I hate it just as much as the next guy, and am waiting for my 5S Gold, probably longer than I should as a result of these people, but if folks are prepared to pay big money to get a 5S NOW then scalpers will always be with us.
Considering where this auction is at it'll probably end and the winner won't pay up realising his/her mistake. Surely no-one is THAT stupid to pay more than the commercial value of an iPhone (unless of course they plan on hassling their mummy or daddy for the money

BTW, the ebay ad says AT&T at the top, but the rest of the ad says they are Sprint phones.
I haven't looked up the model number the seller gave because...I COULDN'T care less.
