    Hi guys!

I was wondering if any of you knew the answer to this.

I have a nice GIF image I would like to use for my app. I placed the GIF image under the Resources folder in Xcode.
The later in the Interface Builder, I dragged the image into the window.
    However, it won't animate.

Is there a way I can have a GIF image animate as being a background?

    Thank you!

GIFs won't animate natively, but you can mimic the behaviour using a UIImageView. See this thread for details: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=650182
