A friend of mine has a Mac Mini (PowerMac 10.1)
He wants it to connect to a wireless router.

All the Wireless Dongles I can find have to have the 10.3 or later,
is there a dongle that will work on 10.1 or will I have to upgrade his Mac to
10.3 or later?

If I have to upgrade it, will it effect the performance of the Mac much?

All he uses it for is Internet and Email.

Internet and email won't be affected if you upgrade to a newer version of OS X.

But I'm curious as to how he has 10.1 on his Mac mini?
