Im trying to wipe my HD....and It cant unmount. After researching, it is probably because the HD is being used. So I need to make a physical lion disk, and then do the Erasing of the HD from there.

When I make the physical disk, do I need to redownload lion? Or are the files already on my computer since I have lion already?

Any help appreciated. :(

If you bought Lion from the app store, the install files got deleted from your drive when you did the initial install, so you will need to redownload the Lion install image. Start the App Store and then option click the Purchases tab. This will enable the Donwload button for Lion. Redownload, but don't install it.

Use the instructions here to make the USB key.
