1. I was resizing the width of the page on inspector and had to resize each page one by one. is there any way to do it all at once?

2. After I resized the pages and published it online, it is no longer centered and the extra width was added to the right side. Why does it do this and how can I center my page?

3. Is there a need to "publish to folder" instead of using ftp server? There was a tutorial on how to add a favicon and it told me to publish to folder, but I wasn't sure if it was because its an aged page with iweb '08.

I have more questions but I don't want to overwhelm anyone. I tried to look for the answers on google but couldn't find anything. any help would be appreciated!

From the way you describe it I can only guess you're using iWeb, but you should clarify that (I see you mention it later). For most designs you would just make an edit in a CSS file and it would effect all pages that use it. For iWeb, you don't have that luxury.

On 3. some hosts just don't work well with iWeb, so publishing to folder first helps. Also there's 3rd party tools like from Rage that do extra SEO things to the site that need to be done before publishing. Essentially if you need to do any kind of edits before it goes to host, then publish to folder is necessary.

You should try clearing your cache first. I've had a lot of trouble with iWeb before I realized that the cache is causing all of it..

Safari.. Safari > Empty Cache
Chrome.. Chrome > Clear Browsing Data
Firefox.. Tools > Clear Private Data

.. at least I think so.

aykhwang- thanks. I'll try that when i get home!

angelwatt: I guess I should start learning dreamweaver. I have no idea what CSS is (trying to learn it and figure this out) and iweb just totally screwed my whole website bc it's now showing only at the left side. I can't believe iweb doesn't have this function to change all pages. It's bizarre to me that they expect people to change every page one by one.
