Making Instant Hotspot Instant Through Bluetooth

    Is it possible to make Instant Hotspot genuinely instant through Bluetooth? For example, having my device automatically connect to my computer when detected without having to select it from the dropdown? I have my device set as the default network in Settings > Network > Advanced but am still unable to connect automatically through Bluetooth. If there are apps or programs that would allow this, that would be great. Thank you!

    The hotspot feature is not meant to be a permanent day-to-day solution as it a) uses a lot of battery if used wirelessly and b) most people don't have plans to support this kind of usage.

    So no, automatically connecting to your phone as if it were a permanent wifi outlet is not possible. In its literal sense it already is genuinely Instant Hotspot.

    There might be a jailbreak solution though.
