Alright so the 200 dollar 3gs iphone 16gb is sold on ebay for 600+ right? Well if it costs 230 to both buy it and activate it, and it costs 175 to cancel a contract with ATT, wouldn't the total cost of the iphone be 405 dollars? Wouldn't I make a profit if I sold it on Ebay? even if I still have to pay the first 70 dollars for that month it would still cost 475...
 
Yeah but you can only buy it one time. Is it really worth that small profit margin for you to get an iPhone and then sell it off?
